but now the flush is on the bathroom wall, things are progressing.
The walls are fully tiled and look gorgeous, the washbasin, shower tray and towel radiator are in position.
Do admire the finer details of the tiles which are in three different sizes on the wall, just the large ones on the floor.
Unfortunately the bedroom windows have not been fitted today, we have a minor setback but Mr FF is as always on the case. For now the windows will stay in the lounge but at least there's a bit more room in there (to get to the toilet, no that's a terrible thing to say).
It will all be worth it in the end - it's just the getting there that's so awful. We are beginning a bathroom renovation and I dread those days when everything is spread from one end of the house to the other.
ReplyDeleteIt's all looking very good, though I do think that toilet needs a little something. A cushion. Or maybe the throw I spy nearby.
ReplyDeleteYears ago, we visited one of Malcolm's uni friends. This chap was slowly (very slowly) renovating his house ....... there was no door on the bathroom, and the bath was in the kitchen. Fortunately we were only there for dinner.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your new bathroom, and I hope the windows get sorted out ok!
