Yes, this Christmas was surprisingly good, very calm and bright apart from a couple of power cuts the second of which was from just after midnight until 11.30 am, we stayed in bed until it was over.
So there has been a lot of this
and this
in front of this
because outside it looks like this
I hope the weather isn't dampening your festive spirit.
It has rained all day here in the Borders - miserable! But it is already noticeably lighter at teatime - hooray!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a good one (though hope there was a lot of eating, too!). Wishing you both a happy and healthy 2014.
ReplyDeleteYour socks are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWeather is the same here though as Anne says it is lighter.
Happy New Year to you and Mr FF.
Knitting, reading and a cosy fire - who could ask for more?! Happy New Year to you and Mr FF!
ReplyDeleteWe spent loads of time in bed, in our pyjamas and basically slobbing about quite a bit! I was a bit put out any time I had to make an effort and dress properly! I did get the swift and ball winder for Christmas and have been having a ball winding everything in sight! Very useful tools. Snowing here again, probably better than rain though! Have a wonderful, healthy and knitty 2014.
ReplyDeleteHugs
