What a contrast between the sky and the snow. I still can't believe you have loads of the white stuff. Gorgeous china - so delicate!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo! Makes the snow a little more bearable when you can feast your eyes on such a gorgeous sight. Lovely china too! I agree, blue and white look so good together. Ros
ReplyDeleteHello Jenny
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the snow and the blue sky - almost makes that white stuff bearable lol
Blue and white china has always been a favourite with me too
Take care

ReplyDeleteI have a 'thing' for blue and white china. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLovely family story with the tureen.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue & white here today too.
The sky looks great behind that pure white snow. Its been great to feel the slight warmth of the sun on my face. Your china collection is marvellous. xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of blue and white. You must be getting sick and tired of snow now....?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue sky - hope the snow goes soon and the warm days arrive. I heard birds singing for the first time at dawn this morning, which is encouraging. Lovely story about the little tureen too.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful collection of blue/white china, Jenny... and love hearing the stories behind them. :o) Blue sky... We're having some of that here too--isn't it glorious?! We're still buried in snow, and likely to be for some weeks yet, but the blue and hint of sunshine does give hope! Thank you for sharing so much lovely blue today... Happy week, my friend :o) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteLovely wintry scene in your photograph though I know you're eager to be wearing the flip flops. Serious blue and white china envy going on here.
ReplyDeleteLove how the dishes match the sky and snow. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if your beautiful tureen is a little chipped. There's no perfection this side of heaven--and looking for it can make us good and crazy! Love all your blue and white!
ReplyDeleteOh I laughed out loud at your comment, good thing no one else is around as I'm still at work! I'll be so glad to welcome Spring again, I'm thinking of sowing a few tomato seeds at the weekend.... indoors of course!
ReplyDeleteDid Mr FF ever tidy his study, or should I not bother asking?
