How lovely to wake up at our beautiful b and b in France.
The drive to the tunnel was good, the tunnel itself fast, efficient and not at all scary.
Today we drive to Austria.
The man gave up on the boiler at 7.30 Saturday evening, it was not finished, nothing like despite all that work - there is a lesson there let's hope it has been learnt because the build up to this trip has been terrible.

  1. You made it! Well done. Now it's time for you and Mr FF to relax together. No DIY allowed!

  2. Hi, Jenny.... late to checking in with you. VERY exciting about your travels! Have fun, rest, and like josie says, no work! ;o) ((HUGS))

  3. Im so jealous, we have just returned from 2 weeks in Beautiful France, Have a good time.

  4. Hope you are having a lovely holiday - you must almost have driven straight past our little cottage!

  5. Via Austria I guess you must be avoiding Switzerland for some reason. I hope you will be able to finally relax and enjoy a full seven week stay after the time you have had reading recent posts!

  6. Ahhh, just breath and relax, let it all go. Looking forward to these posts on the move, have a safe journey.

  7. Now relax...BOTH of you, if possible! This sounds like such a wonderful trip...

  8. Hope that you have arrived in Italy by now. Enjoy yourselves and forget about cold and wet Blighty.

  9. Glad to hear he finally gave up and your holiday has finally begun.

Sometimes when these fellas get the bit between their teeth they are a nightmare. At least yours came to his senses.

I fear I've watched mine keep going until the wee small hours and still not finished a job, leaving him very tired and cranky for days.
