Grizzly weather

At the end of last year we received a lovely calender from our friends in Canada. Mr FF and I both agreed we were looking forward to March, gorgeous black bears in a blizzard. I didn't expect when I turned to this month that we'd soon be having our own version of the British Columbia weather.Yes more snow. Pam and Andrew are coming for dinner tonight but instead to attending to the duck I've been clearing the drive, bound to give me an appetite.
The forecast for the weekend is more snow, Mr FF is of course planning a trip up to Perthshire on Sunday with his walking chums and an early flight on Monday. We've been there before haven't we, I shall be knitting my much needed new socks in front of the stove.
Enjoy your weekend, with or without snow, with or without bears.

  6. Oh no, it must be nearly the end of what feels like another long winter! Still jolly cold here in northern Lazio if that makes you feel any better.

  7. I can't believe you are having so much snow at the moment as we are well on the way to spring down here in the North of England, another sunny day today!
Please don't send it down here!

  9. We had a dumping of two more feet on Friday for a total on the ground of four feet now. It's more usual for us to have it that you though.

I hope you stay warm though, it's very damp with snow at this time of year..

  10. Good grief! I can't believe how much snow you've had this year. It's been cold in the Midlands over the last few days, a bit foggy, but not cold enough for snow. Mind you it was so nice on Sunday I had the washing on the line.

I think Mr FF is very brave - freezing cold snow, hanging around airports, delays....he could be tucked up with you by the good old Stove and dreaming of Italy.

    Men and their chums....
