My Christmas list
Christmas shopping for Mr FF - total failure we both agreed it was far too cold to walk the streetsGourmet meal planning - total failure we have settled for a chickenHouse decorations - half hearted attempt, mainly cards and a few candles
Having enough - complete success including a functioning boiler
Marry Christmas Jenny and best wishes for the New Year. I'm sure all your dreams will come true in 2011 - including getting over to Italy whenever you want and need to Take care Cathy
Merry Xmas Jenny...I hope you find some warmth in front of a burning fire... Just love ur photo's and my hubby and I are thinking it is a little bit too cold looking, but breathtakingly beautiful.... Xox Tracey
Happy Christmas to you and Mr FF, Jenny! So pleased that your boiler is working again - the best present you could have! Love your bauble wreath - what a brilliant idea! It looks so bright and cheery. Enjoy the festive season, whatever you do!
With very few exceptions I always think simple is best. At least you have heat and a chicken.... I have discovered my turkey crown from M&S grew up in France which has made me feel guilty........ Merry Christmas :-)
Aaawww, Jenny... But it does sound like a good Christmas, I think. It's the time to slow down, be with loved ones--family & friends that matter most. Keeping warm too... thank goodness for the boiler! ;o) Keep warm, eat, drink & be merry! See you in the New Year! ((HUGS))
Merry Christmas Jenny - great to see someone with the right priorities. I think the snow and ice disruptions, causing cancelled shopping trips has enhanced the whole thing. xxxxx
But it sounds like it was just perfect for you and that's what counts. I think that fully functioning boiler was the best present you could have had considering the alternative. Love those gorgeous snowy photos, they'd make stunning Christmas cards you know!

It's the little things that matter at Christmas.........having each other, family and friends, and of course a fully functioning boiler.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely, warm festive Christmas.

ReplyDeleteYour photographs look very picturesque but sadly that does not get the shopping done.
ReplyDeleteA belated Happy Christmas to you.
Hope you've had a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your boiler is up and running properly and that you were toasty warm.
ReplyDeleteHopefully when it gets a bit warmer you can both go out together and sort out your Christmas gifts - and hopefully get them at sale prices too!
