Well done you - you have every right to feel smug! That is a rather good pattern - interesting to knit, but not overcomplicated! I'm so pleased that you too have commenced your 2011 stash enhancement though!
ReplyDeleteI would feel smug too if i were you and with so much skill....show off big time!!!

Love the Ann Budd sock pattern I've had that book on my Amazon wish list for quite some time now. May just have to purchase it! Well that's not yarn enhancement, now is it ;-)Ros
ReplyDeleteLoverly sockies
ReplyDeleteWell you have my full admiration. I have quite a few skeins of sock wool around and have even joined a sock club but for the life of me I can not enthuse about knitting them!!! I think it's the 2.5mm needles. A bit like going back to 18hpi aida cross stitching, the eyes just don't have it any-more!!
ReplyDeleteAnd smug you should be too, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI know nothing about knitting - can't even cast on (is that what its called?) but I do know about socks and they look really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love that sock pattern from Interweave. I've long subscribed to the magazine and love to pull out pages for my project folder--that sock pattern in among them. But we know how I am with sock--maybe THIS will be my year to really learn how to knit them. ;o) LOVE the wool for these socks you've chosen, Jenny. And less stash... I'm all for that! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteYou make me very envious. I have not had the time to knit anything for years.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Amelia likes her cardigan. It is beautiful.
Love those socks!
ReplyDeleteI love those socks! I am trying hard this year to use up my stash - starting on Monday, when I begin the first of the 52 projects in my Debbie Bliss book - can I keep up the pace of a project every week!!
